Common Questions, Straight Answers
We know you have questions about how our solutions work, what to expect, and how we care for your property. Below you’ll find straightforward answers to the inquiries we hear most often from our Portsmouth clients.
How do I know if I need lawn maintenance or something more comprehensive?
If your lawn is generally healthy but needs regular mowing, edging, and tidying, our standard maintenance plan is likely sufficient. If you’re dealing with bare patches, thin grass, weeds, or compacted soil, you may benefit from additional solutions like aeration, overseeding, or soil care. We’re happy to assess your lawn during a consultation and provide honest recommendations.
Do I need to be home when you provide solutions ?
Not at all. Most of our clients provide us with access to their property and trust us to work independently. We’ll communicate our schedule in advance, and you’re always welcome to be present if you prefer. For consultations, we do ask that you be available either in person or remotely to discuss your goals.
What happens if there’s bad weather on my scheduled service day?
Your lawn’s health and our team’s safety come first. If weather prevents us from performing solutions as scheduled, we’ll reschedule at the earliest available time. We monitor forecasts closely and communicate proactively with clients about any weather-related adjustments to our schedule.
How do you handle properties with pets?
We love pets and want them to be safe and comfortable. We ask that you secure pets indoors or in a designated area away from where we’ll be working. If your pet has access to the yard, please let us know in advance so we can take extra care when opening gates and working in those areas.
What’s included in a typical mowing service?
Our standard mowing service includes cutting grass to the appropriate height for the season, trimming around obstacles, edging along walkways and driveways, and blowing off clippings from hard surfaces. We also do a quick visual inspection of your property and alert you to any potential issues we notice.
